Direct X and EFII.

After installing Direct X on my XP EFII developed serious problems so I had to reinstall it on another computer. Micrrosssoft admit that it causes compatibility problems and prorposes an awkward fix.
Have any of you had similar problems ?

Yes, I experienced some problems with Direct X 7, but any other has been good.

My Ef2-fall of the reich runs just fine on my machine with WindowsXP and DirectX9.What you could do is right-click on the game file and in the popup window go to the last tab-Compatibility.Check the "Execute this program in compatibility with:"(or something like that) checkbox and select from the drop-down control "Windows98/Me"/
