Anamolies in Smolensk '41 scenarios???

Has anyone noticed in the Gusino.scn "The Strip" that the German's 17th Panzer Division units are not "Indirect Fire" spotters for 47th Pz Korps artillery units?? Specifically, the 17th Pz units cannot spot for the 47th Pz Korps, II/53rd Nebelwerfer. Both units are part of Panzergruppe 2 and should be able to interact on indirect arty fire.
Checked into the *.oob and found that the Gusino.oob shows both 47th Pz Korps and 17th Pz Div as subordinate units of PzGruppe 2. But, in the Smolensk.oob 17th Pz Div is subordinate to 47th Pz Korps which is in turn subordinate to PzGruppe 2.
I understand this is an small scenario in an older game; however, could it be corrected in a future patch? Just curious. Thanks. Mike.

Try to make corps attachment on midnight. This should help.

Maybe designers wanted to prevent artillery support on a first day? Ammo shortage comes to my mind. Maybe division lost contact with parent HQ on that day etc...

In the Gusino.scn "The Strip" the units of the 17th panzer are subordinated directly to PanzerGruppe 2 and not to the 47th Panzer Corps. Right click the 17th Panzer HQ unit and you will see it is directly attached (at the start of this scenario) to PanzerGruppe 2. There are Corps troops in the scenario that belong to 47th Panzer Corps which can spot for the 47th Panzer Corps artillery. The scenario is so short and the field of play so narrow, the lack of spotters from the 17th Panzer should make no difference.

Thanks for the input guys, both of your ideas on this are very sound. Just seems as if 17th Pz Div could spot for 47th Pz Korps arty assets is all. It just didn't "quack like a duck" at first glance. Ya know? Mike.
