Moscow '41 problem
I am having problems with the Operation Typhoon Campaign. The command test for the Russian side does not seem to be functioning for me. At the start of any Russian turn the command report is missing the message indicating "x out of y HQs out of command". Works fine for the Axis turns and appears to be fine for all other Moscow '41 scenarios (but I have not checked every single one) but not for any of the five Operation Typhoon scenarios (i.e. #1115_01s to #1115_05). And I cannot find any 'out of command' Russian HQs, so it appears that it is not just the message that is missing.

I guess either this is a known bug or, more likely, it is a problem that only I have. I have the latest version (v1.02) and I have completely reinstalled the game but the problem remains. Hopefully I am just missing something that is blindingly obvious but I cannot work out what it could be. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Hi John,

I don't believe it is a bug, or a problem for you, but a scenario design item. The Russians have a supply level set at 100, and that is used for determining command. Since it is 100, there is no check - all HQs that aren't isolated are automatically in command.

I may be wrong on this, if so I imagine Glenn will be along and correct me on it, but I am nearly positive that is how it works.

The command report will not show the line about x of y HQs are out of command if your lucky enough to not have any HQ's out of command on a single game turn. this applies to all the games in the series. This is most common in smaller scenarios with less HQs.
