RE: Market Garden Panoramas
For those interested.
Every first saturday in september in the Netherlands the Airborne march is held.
This year we had the 61 event of this march.
Its purpose is to collect funds for veterans and of course to honour those who died for our freedom.
With this money veterans can come over from England and Poland to attent the ceremony to remember the fallen soldiers.
The march is divided into for routes 10 to 40 km long and takes you through the area around Nijmegen and Oosterbeek.
Each year the military detachments pay a visit to the British wargraves and the monument.
So if you visit my country during that month have a look, its worth your time!
