short witp anyone?

not interested in a long campaign but I could do 'guadalcanal', 'south pacific', or the short campaign 'turning point' (or whatever it's called).

Only playing witp and only have one other pbem underway so quick turns are guaranteed (5 turns/week give or take)

I suspect many of us witp'ers are holding our breath for the Admiral's Edition, and even a "short" witp game takes a long time to play. :)

when exactly is that coming out? I thought it was summer?

The simple answer over at Matrix is "when it's ready". I get the sense that they have basically determined the feature list and are in the midst of testing (not sure if this would be considered alpha or beta testing or somewhere in between).

From the sounds of things, I would think late summer would be the earliest release date.
