c_Question Mark  Operation Q
Help me out someone;

Setting up for the second battle in "to The Volga" a static opp and i have a large red box (my bit) where i can move my troops around but just infront there are a selection of blue boxes, what is the significance of these? I am puzzled as some of the boxes cover where i have forces (my outposts if you like) and some cover where i know my opp has forces.

Thanks in advance

RE: Operation Q
That is where you cant set up as the enemy has forces there, of course he can always remove them from this box and take them back to his main lines so there may be no one there at all.

RE: Operation Q
I usually also end up with a lot of troops with red bases in blue boxes at each setup screen.

That means I can withdraw them back into the red boxes, but I can't move them around in the blue boxes. If they want to maintain their ground they stay where they are. Those are typically units that are in front of the advance or in contact with the enemy at the battle break. I suppose it is to keep players from all of a sudden jumping forward and surrounding known enemy troop positions at the break.

RE: Operation Q
You'll also notice that those forward troops don't get ammo resupply, so sometimes the prudent thing is indeed to pull them back.

RE: Operation Q
I assume he means pulling the troops with the red bases out of the blue boxes and into your own red boxes.
