I've always been very interested in 'Wacht am Rhein'.

The operation itself, the battles that took place, the locations and the short period afterwards.

Since I live about 1.5hrs of most locations I got the plan to visit most locations and take pictures and share them globally.

I've also started to collect all kinds of info.

You should download the Battles in Normandy demo from SSI Games.

The demo battle is the Ardene offensive and it really gives an excellent overview of the whole campaign.

Its bastiche hard though, you can only play the Germans and I have put several hours into it and have never taken Bastonge

"A Tour of the Battle of the Bulge Battlefields (Battleground Europe: Special) (Paperback)
by William C.C. Cavanagh (Author)"

which would be ideal for you, as well as a detailed maps & timeline of the battle it has several suggested routes of various lengths to take in the sights, its excellent.
I havefriends in Liege and my pulse always quickens as I drive past signposts to Trois Points etc.... Have fun!
