Team Game: The Bolt out of the Blue

Hi folks,

Just forming a new Team Game since I'm really enjoying another TG.

The Bolt out of the Blue 3.0

Looking for players 5 players: 3 WP players, 2 NATO players

OR: Artillery Setup, Recon Spotting, VST, Night Fatigue, Programmed Weather, Blocking helicopters elimination, Counterbattery fire, Limited air recon, QFM.

Some experience and dedication (since it's a team game) requiered.

What about the dreaded House Helo rules ?
I also noticed Tazzaron has no FARPS ?

Any interest in the new Volcano Gotterdamerung mod ? What are the differences between the two ?

Mm Kevin, good point

About Helos: I'm used to discuss house rules after all players are enlisted but no problem here, maybe a veteran english native speaker like you could do a first draft to avoid unhistorical/unrealistic helo usage.

You're right, Tazaaron's scenario have no FARPS, it's a pity I know.

I don't know about Ed's mod called Gotterdamerung, can you explain me a little?

I have had just a brief look at the Volcano mod so I can't tell you much about it.Basically I believe he adjusted the Attack factors using the same method as he did for the PzC Alts.

If I did this right ,here is the read me file for the mod.

How much trouble would it be to add FARPS to the OOB ?Never tried anything like that myself so no idea.Perhaps we should honk up Tazzeron and see if he is working on a v3.1 ?

I will think up something for Helo rules.I have a couple idea's we can ponder.

I understand it's an _alt scenario.

Regarding FARPS... I can add them, no problem, it's very easy but we should ask Tazaaron anyway, maybe he've the time.
Also we could fix some minor oddities in the OOB, (I did notice 1 ATGM unit with range 1 not 2, for example).

Let us know you ideas about Helos.

In my opinion Gotterdamerung and The Bolt Out of the Blue are both worth trying out. The only thing to do is play them both for two totally different experiences. :) I don't think anyone could (or should) say that one is better than the other.
