The Most painful experience I have had with Ampulomets is when a half track carrying a full 9 man squad was hit by one of these fiendish flaming projectiles...

The half track was instantly knocked out, and 6/9 men were instant casualties...

So yes, most certainly they are effective against infantry, especially mounted infantry.

Hugely overmodeled, they will penetrate 50mm front vehicles at 250 yards. They are basically bazookas before the letter...
