1914 auto-D problems.
Is there any way to make the Auto-Defensive fire more realistic? For example, often, very often, (always?) a French defending hex with infantry and arty will be facing 2000 German infantry, and the French arty will engage in long-range counter battery fire, to no effect, while those 2000 Huns get ready to unleash either fire or assault. By the time the enemy does fire, the French arty has used up all its fire. This is counter to normal doctrine, where arty will fire on attacking infantry while on defense. This should be a simple fix, no? jonny :smoke:
