Imperial War Museum
I have to boast somewhere to someone :whis:
My wife took me to Imperial War Museum in London few days ago. For military and history lover it's quite nice place to spend a day.
It's quite a lot of those in Poland

RE: Imperial War Museum
I visited the museum as a teen visiting England with my father.
I thought it was the coolest place on earth.
Thank you for the pics!

Unfortunately there was so many people that it was no chance to take real good shot :(
But most important I've put my hand in to the afterbullet hole

RE: Imperial War Museum
Nice...
One of the places I'd love to go after I retire...
Just an observation, but that is a Jagdpanther... Jagdtiger is MUCH bigger... I've seen the one at Aberdeen Proving Ground and have many pictures of it...
Looks like this one took some flanking fire... Wouldn't it be great to know this vehicle's history... and how it received those holes...
I've been watching the Greatest Tank Battles here and I am enamored by the stories... Especially of the Sherman tactics of the 4th AD... pump smoke rounds out to cover the Shermans as they maneuver to flank enemy tanks... Can't do that in CS with a Sherman...
Thanks for the pictures...
Jim

Where do you live? Now I live in March, Cambs.
My next place I want to visit is 'Bovington Tank Museum'.

Yes, it's Jaghpanther and he get four hits. One next to another. If I remember correctly somewhere in Normandy.

RE: Imperial War Museum
A great place. I used to visit the place often.
There was also a small museum in Chelsea which had exhibits going back to Napoleonic era as well. Another good visit to make when one is in London.
I remember visiting Duxford once and being impressed by the 'Flying Fortress' that still flew.
