Game mods question

Hello All,

I wonder if there is a way to mod games to use the larger 2x map that some games have from recent updates? I'm playing Smolensk now and love it, but would like to have the magnified map for Kharkov 43, which I bought from JT's website.

One thing I did manage to do is copy and paste the "updated" media files from Kharkov 43' into Smolensk, and now I have movement sounds, ect for all units! I added the updated media files to Bulge 44 as well, and it works fine!

I find it odd that a new game like Kharkov 43 has updated media files, but lacks the 2x map...
