Looking for players/participants interested in WWI and WWII
Hey guys,

Any of you interested in helping out with a project I will be undertaking for the next 6 months to a year or more? It's not really a game, per se. I'll explain. I need a few folks who are very familiar with a given nation's history and historical outlooks. I will periodically provide a situation report that includes notable events and any changes from known history, status of alliances and the like, and any pertinent communications or other information, and ask how you would respond. The participants will not be playing or acting the role of the head of state (for example, Nicholas II, Kaiser Wilhelm, Woodrow Wilson, etc...) but rather the underlying forces of governmental continuity such as nobility, aristocrats, legislative bodies, bureaucracies, etc...; this may of course put them at odds with the head of state.

Like I said, this isn't really a game, there will be no winners or losers, no points or things like that. It will just help me with truly original viewpoints on various scenarios I will be presenting.

If you think you might be interested, let me know. Please include what country or countries you'd be most interested in and any special qualifications you might have (Phd in French history, for example).

Thanks again,

LR

Oh, one thing I apparently forgot to mention, this will include grand strategy decisions on a global scale for the countries involved, as well as even some operational level decision making. So it's not just economics and political, there will of course be fighting involved almost certainly. As noted, while the project would likely last 6 to 18 months, your input might be required at most once per month. Feel free to e-mail directly at [email protected].

Thanks again for the responses.
