Without wishing to turn this into an Oscar acceptance speech I have to thank the Blitz for existing and the 2 gentlemen that have been my worthy foes for many of those games Bill and Harry.

They play well sometimes too well, they have become friends.

A lot of the games have been long ones my last one being a 93 turn game against Harry - It takes special people to dedicate the time to play these monsters.

You have been a gentleman opponent who is very hard to beat. May we continue to have many more tense struggles.

And I do think that Mrs B probably deserves a medal also.
