How times have changed
Reading a collection of personal letters from Clifford A. Wells who was killed in 1917 two weeks after Vimy Ridge. When he gets to France in 1916 he writes home that "you can buy bottles of water here, who ever heard of such a thing as bottled water".
Now it would be "they drink from the tap here, who would ever think of such a thing as to drink from the tap".
Also a sign of the times, I got my copy for free and legally through Project Gutenberg but I noticed that Amazon wants 22Euro for it!
