The Prussians exited some cavalry early on. Outflanking movements were not pressed, and the French centre came close to collapse....but Prussian cavalry had been largely wasted.
The French force fought well, and extracted heavy casualties in an initial Cavalry battle. The Prussian player was constantly on the defensive tactically afterwards as he tried to pull the points gap back. The battle ended as a nail biter, with a Prussian assault on the last French line. But by that point, the random fixing and the toll of the earlier battles combined to break the Prussian attack. Overall a very well played and exciting game.
