The French attacked. Some good cavalry charges in flank sent a lot of musket units into rout. The Swiss pike blocks captured several guns. The enemy right flank collapsed after heavy fighting.
The French attack on the right was devastating. The Huguenots attempted to anchor in the the nearby village unsuccessfully. Some of the Huguenots cavalry attacks were successful, while others were complete disasters. The Swiss pikes shattered Huguenot musket units on the left and the combined arms of French Pikes/Muskets followed up by French cavalry turned and routed the right. The organization, order and better tactics of the French and Swiss won the day. Took a butt kicking, but it was a learning experience and still a blast to play.
