The game had a terrible start for the Austrians as the French were able to delay their northern forces long enough to blow the bridge at Ratisbon, trapping almost half the Austrian forces on the wrong side. The French forces still had a tough time of it fending off Austrian attacks and were a shadow of their former selves by the time help arrived. The Austrian player masterfully handled a withdrawal, ambushing French lead columns multiple times. The French reinforcements were securing a crossing in the south when he finally capitulated.

Certainly Eckmuhl Campaign is one of the best Tiller games. This scenario starts with the Austrians deploying so there's no a fight at the Landshut bridge.
Half the Austrians were trapped in the north. Of the rest, a retreat to Landshut ended with part of the army getting pushed aside and then cut to pieces.
