The Allied advantage started to tell early on and it lasted for most of the game even though the Axis managed to halt the progress in the west for quite some time and held the Antwerp port much longer than it was the case in history. The supplies used to run low on occasions due to sustained combat operations, but in general it never seemed to be a problem.
