My opponent surrendered on turn 36, over 1000 pts from a minor loss. French feel the constant pressure of hordes and hordes of German armor, but have artillery to handle the sparce German infantry and time on their side. Surrender was the right call, though, since the French would have stalled any efforts to reach meaningful victory hexes.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
