The Austrians decided to hold the hills on the far side of the creek, and the French could not conquer any objective. However the fight was bitter, with Watrin's and Schellenberg's divisions literally wiped out - the latter by the efficient French artillery alone. In the end a very balanced and interesting scenario: a few more turns, and I would have been forced to retire the entire Austrian corps behind the creek, with a very good chance of catastrophically losing the battle in the process.
