Couldn't do much except accept my punishment as couldn't see the Waffen ghosts most of the short firefight. Held out for 15 of the 20mins and inflicted some casualties, but finally forced to surrender to spare a few men.
This was a very interesting and challenging scenario – all infantry. Now I can see that the Americans had very few resources – I thought I was light, but still had 28 men vs 16. Plus I had some artillery support. My opponent mentioned issues with LOS, which I often have with this game, but was especially critical to him as he needed to see any incursion over the bridge and somehow – my men were invisible as they crossed. I thought it was not easy from the German side, but I think the Ami needed some more support (Artillery, better LOS conditions or another MMG) to really make it hard for the Axis. Nevertheless, I thought it was only slightly in favor of the German, as a few more casualties would make all the difference.
