The French have a numerical advantage. When across the creek they can head to the exit hexes. Defence is even harder with No Detached Melee, especially on the Prussian right.

Initial dispositions give Prussian right wing forces a crew squadrons of detached Cavalry when I see Commander is with the rest of the Brigade on the far left wing, and no artillery to defend the crossing facing a French force superiority numbers and quality with several artillery batteries.
Very tough task.
