Although this result gives me my first Blitz win it was 43 turns of back and forth against a cracking opponent whose use of the French Heavy cavalry and artillery in the vineyard dominated landscape at Marengo was superb.

Numerous Austrian guns and not a few Senior officers were overrun and the Austrians were barely holding their own when a sharpshooter apparently won the lottery for Melas.

Intriguing scenario with many twists and turns.
