The scenario needs revision. The French are over the Danube way too quickly and at the Russbach far quicker than historically. Thousands of men and horses crossing pontoon bridges over the Danube do so slowly! The Austrians unfix far too slowly and are almost surrounded. Victory hexes are worth way too much. All over in 50 turns.
Completely agree with my opponent, as the French player getting across the Danube was a cake walk. The French were able to completely flank the entire Austrian position with little to no resistance, no skill on my part, just no Austrians to challenge. French artillery can pound the Austrians, while Austrian artillery seemed weak. By the time the Austrian Army showed up the French were at the objectives. I agree needs revision.
