Allies resigned early when Belgian reinforcements were trapped on the map edge in the middle of the French. Moral: look at the scenario before you start regarding when and where reinforcements arrive.
I've only played a couple of Company level battles and from my perspective as the French it appears very much in their favor. French have many A level units and numerous B with only a few C. Objectives may be historical, but the French player has opportunity to take them early and hold them. Allied reinforcements appeared in the middle of the II Corps flanking move, trapping them.
