The 24th Panzer helps until it is withdrawn on Feb. 4th. Without it, the Germans may not be able to hold the initial Red Army onslaught. After its withdrawal the situation turns bleak. German tanks and Stukas are the only things holding off Red armor. The German player needs to carefully resource armor, airpower and heavy weapons companies.
snow and mud makes it a slow advance for the soviets ; make sure to keep your artillery advancing in pace with the infantry/armor, it will make a difference . You will also find the elite panzers very tough to break, most of the time they are defending in the rubble
