That said the scenario is awfully buggy. First a wounded leader is worth 96 points (v 4.03), which makes him worth some 384 if captured!
Then there's the French, with large units that can't melee or fire due to overstacking. They have to break down into extended line to be effective.
This would be better as a company level scenario.
Very Buggy. My opponent believes this should have been a Company Level Scenario and I completely agree.
Here is why:
Any units over 400 men could not melee with the over stacking message
Any units over 400 men could not move into a hex with a leader, supplies, or skirmishers. same over stacking message
Leaders and supplies could move into a hex with a unit over 400 men though.
Units would go from 80 fatigue to max fatigue without a melee or major engagement. Max fatigue would be shaded green
The value of captured leaders broke the victory conditions of the game, 1 injured leader cost my opponent 96p points in a scenario where I needed 150 points for a minor victory.
As the French player it was still very pro French, even though I couldn't melee with units over 400 men, I was able to break down light units and melee with them along with large groups of skirmishers. Larger units I could use to maximize firepower even with the the poor weather.
Thanks
