Well it went to the last turn as the fresh Russian troops launched a desperate counter attack in the centre trying to recapture a fairly isolated 250VP Objective but (just) failing to do so.
Losses for both sides were predictably high at around 10,000 each.
As usual Andrew was a great opponent.

The Russians lost two 250 VP hexes and couldn't get them back. They were prone to disorder and rout. I do wonder why there were a number of German VP hexes given the Russians weren't really in a position to attack.
