This is impossible for the French to win against a determined and skillful attacking player. The Belgain Army is fixed for most of the game. Even when their units come under fire a division will remain fixed until each unit make visual contact. The British Army doesn't come on the board until turn 156 and by that time it's all over. The French are outnumbered 2-1 and except for their 75mm guns they have NO FIREPOWER. Played this out 122 turns and it's just no fun getting beat up the whole game. It was fun for a while but the Germans seem to have unlimited force.
