Absolute bloodbath of a scenario. The French 75mm do a lot of damage early on but the French front is very wide as pretty shallow so the holding of the river line is very important for as long as possible.
A very interesting battle well played by my opponent who though unsuccessfully on a VP level at the end would have routed the French forces decisively given a few more turns.
