I have fought this battle as the US and as the Russians. There are great firefights and while challenging, the US Seals will eventually prevail. The trick is to not destroy (by helicopter, artillery, grenade launchers etc) any buildings holding workers.
Because of the scoring however, I think that it is impossible for the US side to win enough points to actually win the battle. The Russian side seems to get a 500 point bonus, no matter what. So, if the battle goes well for the US team, it is a draw. If the battle goes poorly for the US, the Russian will win.
In my opinion, this would be a great battle if the scoring were fixed.
