Very little maneuver in this scenario, and it became a slugfest between the lower quality allies and the French Guard. Suspecting a flanking movement in the south I incompletely destroyed a bridge there, and my opponent marched a lot of troops in that direction, as hoped, and were thus unavailable for the main contest.
Heavy rain/mud hits a little less than halfway through the scenario. Combine that with terrain that is mostly fields, and it is almost impossible to maneuver. Unfortunately, the flanking attack was stopped by the destroyed bridge (and not having any sappers along), but because of the reduced movement and the arrival location, I'm not sure that force could have reached the fight by any other path.
I cannot see either side squeezing out anything better than a draw in this one.
