Playing as Axis Soviets, my opponent chose to put up a good fight for the objectives, before retreating towards his exit hexes. I was able to close the lower exit hex, but lacked the means to close the top one as he could retreat towards it and exit for victory points.
Tough fight as the Poles. Must beat a hasty retreat to the wood West of startup position, for cover. I chose a few units to sit on the open objective to stall the advancing Russians. Careful fighting withdrawl tactics for the remainder of the scenario, trying to cost the enemy more casualties than gaining eventually the VH's, then exit to fight another day.
