June 18, 1815 44 Turns ----------------------[ What If ]---------------------- When Napoléon was informed by Grouchy at dawn on the 18th that the Prussians were falling back to Wavre instead of to Liège, the emperor ordered him to drive the Prussians back and link up with the right wing of the main army. Unfortunately for the French, the message arrived too late to be of any use to Grouchy. If he had received the message in time to march to the battle while keeping at least some of the Prussians at bay, would he have been able to influence the outcome? Would Napoléon's order have prevented his defeat?
