April 6, 1862 8 Turns ---------------------[ Historical ]--------------------- 8:20 AM: Following the initial repulse of Cleburne's rash and unsupported attack against Buckland's brigade, other Confederate brigades begin arriving. Patton Anderson's brigade (Bragg's 2nd Corps) and Robert Russell's brigade (Polk's First Corps) are given the task of capturing Waterhouse's battery dominating the expanse of Rhea field and breaking Sherman's line. Meanwhile, units of the first Confederate line (Hardee's 3rd Corps) also approach, after looting their way through Prentiss's now-abandoned camps. Already the units of the various Confederate corps are becoming hopelessly mixed up.
