Sept. 7, 1812 8 Turns ---------------------[ Historical ]--------------------- After initially capturing the north and south flèches, the French found themselves exposed to Russian artillery fire thanks to the flèches' open eastern face. Under sharp counterattack by Neverovsky's 27th Division, Vorontsov's grenadiers and Siever's cavalry, the French have been brutally ejected from the fortifications. With the loss of divisional (Compans) and corps (Davout) commanders due to wounds, the French launch another assault on the bloody flèches. This time Ledru's 10th Division of Ney's III Corps has been detailed to assist.
