Sept. 7, 1812 12 Turns ---------------------[ Historical ]--------------------- The French had captured the "Great Redoubt", only to be driven back by rallied Russian forces. At 2pm Prince Eugène is ordered to resume his attack. He sends the 1st, 3rd and 14th Divisions forward, supported by the 3rd Light Cavalry Division and the 2nd and 7th Cuirassier Divisions. The cavalry, eager to engage the enemy at last, outdistances the infantry and arrives at the redoubt first.
