There are a number of house rules which must be mastered. Much seems to depend on the Allies air assets, which are relatively ineffective, tending to make the scenario drawish.

We contacted the scenario designer (Stefan) who checked on an issue that arose when the Axis player bombards Allied beach supply units. Stefan very kindly responded and checked the problem - a-la- there is a problem with 1.99, not with 2.02, and the result was that there indeed is a bug with one of the supply units. When X-Ray beach supply is destroyed there will be a replacement unit appearing at the bottom of the map in 15/60 but NOT appropriate sea transport to move it. Anzio supply however works normally.
