A Bridge at Cheneux - Combat Mission: Afrika Korps

Covers the whole battle for Cheneux, from the approach of 504th Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, during the late afternoon of 20th December 1944 until the final clearance of the town during the afternoon of 22nd December. Builds to Battalion++ scale but note that not all units in the OOB can arrive. The short 15+ turn battles are alternate day-night to illustrate the actual events of the battle. The weather is quite poor but being an operation can be variable. Ideally it should start as overcast but this cannot be pre-set. It is highly recommended that v German AI the AI is left in default set-up without a bonus. It is not recommended for play as the Germans v US AI as the AI is likely to be heavily repulsed despite a bonus by the end of battle 3. Most players reported a victory against the AI - one by the end of battle 3. The single pbem report produced an historical result of a US victory.
