It is April 1945 and the end of the war is near. Allied forces are relentlessly advancing on German positions all across Italy capturing vital towns and roads. One of these towns is home to a vital crossroad interchange being used by retreating Germans forces heading north to form a new defensive line. If the town is taken large numbers of German forces will be trapped and unable to retreat.
