This scenario was taken from The Proving Grounds where it was being playtested.
It was later released as HSG 3AD First Objective. I have put that scenario file here.

Villiers Fossard, France
The 3rd Armored Division was ordered to reduce a salient east of the Vire River protecting Villiers Fossard. The assignment of clearing the pocket was given Brig. Gen. Doyle 0. Hickey's CCA. To accomplish this mission, the Combat Command was given the 32nd Armored Regiment, the 36th Armored Infantry Regiment, 54th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, supporting engineers, medics and maintenance elements.
Two task forces participated in the attack -- Task Force Boudinot commanded by Col. Truman E. Boudinot and Task Force Parks commanded by Col. Graeme G. Parks.
The battle was fierce. The Germans had used the time given them to prepare a defense in depth. Mines and pillboxes were plentiful.
German forces belonged to the Fusilier Battalion of the 353rd Infantry Division, sent to support the 352nd Infantry Division east of St. Lo. They had not only driven the soldiers of the 29th Infantry Division back but had held the ground against all attacks to date.
It was now time to see what the 3rd Armored Division was made of.
