Following the Market Garden campaign of September 1944, 2nd Army's efforts were directed towards enlarging the Eindhoven-Nijmegen salient and eliminating German occupation of that part of Holland which was south and west of the Maas. Doing this involved several minor campaigns which are the inspiration for this scenario.
