25 JUNE 1941
German Army Group North moved towards the Daugava River, Riga region. Soviet command has ordered the 3.Tank Corps to meet and destroy Manstein's Corps. On 24 June, the Soviets engaged the 6.Panzer Division, 41.Panzer Corps and broke through. The German advance was halted and 6.Panzer was now cut off. 1.Panzer Division is ordered to relieve the 6.Panzer. Here on the 25 June, the vanguard of 1.Panzer will meet with the Soviet threat and be introduced to the KV tank.
