The Soviets are trying to bypass Warsaw. The Soviets don't want to make a frontal attack on the city and have to take Warsaw one block at a time. The 1st Belorussian Front had moved to the south of the Pripet Marshes broken into the open and tried to by pass Warsaw to the south.
The German's responded to the threat by sending the 19th Panzer Division just then detraining from Denmark to the area of Grabow Nad Pilica. Combat would rage in the area over a four-day period.
The Germans were hard pressed to hold back the tanks of the 1st Belorussian Front.

A Destruction of Army Group Center series scenario.
The point total on this one is high. That is mostly Soviet armor about to overrun your position. To be played German vs AI. It would be unbalanced as a H2H scenario.
This is a desperate situation. Once again Soviet tanks are streaming west. The 19th Panzer Division is here just in time to stop them. BUT your forces are tired and your tanks are no telling how far away from the blocking position. Can you hold until your armor shows up? Can you hold then?
This scenario was put together because my 6 year old Grandson likes playing CMBB with Panthers! ROFL!!! Me too!

Later when reinforcement arrives it really does up the pace however.
Although well balanced as primarily a tank battle this is not really a battle of manouvre which may disapoint some players iflooking for a 'classic' tank battle.
