This is a game that could go either way but I expect that neither side could wind a decisive victory.

A great map and concept completely ruined by the fixed deployment of ALL German forces in entirely inappropriate locations. This battle has great potential but would require the following changes to make it enjoyable, balanced and challenging:

1) deployment - create deployment zones and allow deployment of all German forces. As it stands, the 88, flak, pak40 and guns are in terrible locations with almost no fields of fire. Infantry and panzer deployment is similarly poor but as they can be moved, it is not as critical. It would be nice, but not necessary, if the allied side also allowed deployment rather than starting in fixed locations.

2) balance of forces - the PzIIIs with short 50mm guns are useless against Shermans. As a minimum, upgrade them to 50L60 variants so that there is at least a chance of penetrating or damaging the Shermans.

3) VPs - German VPs are currently ~30% inflicting casualties and 70% holding ground. This should be reversed to better reflect Allied concern over unnecessary casualties and to allow the German player a flexible defence where they can give up some ground while holding critical rear areas.

First of all, I enjoyed the map and I enjoyed the scenario mission/objectives. It is a great idea for a battle, and the map/terrain were tricky yet fun to negotiate.
However, this battle needs German set up zones. The 88mm and the infantry guns in particular are poorly sited, and without German set up zones this greatly handicaps the Axis player.
I think the Brits could also start with two less tanks to make it more balanced.
