This is an early am attack that favors the US spotting even more. However, lines of sight are short and this limits the effectiveness of Javelins. This is crucial for the balance of the game as the US has no heavy armor support for this mission. Overall I believe the scenario is well balanced.
A tough nut to crack for the Americans. Stryker-mounted infantry trying to advance against tanks and the 30mm-armed Russian IFVs makes for a bloody morning. The US side has some advantages and if used properly the game is probably well balanced. Read the briefing carefully.

US has access to great artillery, but lacks sufficient firepower to actually fight their way across the river. Better US vehicle fighting capabilities would help even the match.
