"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." ~ Napoleon
Dunno whether I really enjoyed it, but would play again as it's tactically interesting.
[Spoilers ahead?]
The particular make up of the German forces means that they more naturally fit with a defensive posture, which may give them an edge in on a map which favours ambushes.
Also, even with the Axis finding 3 of the objectives versus Allies only 2, and with the kill counts similar, we still could only manage a draw (150 point difference. Which I found odd, seeing as this is promoted as a 'patrolling' style of mission, rather than 'obliterate' the enemy mission. So that effectively removed the Checkpoints as a viable goalpost.
I feel more point weighting should be given to the checkpoints, as this would encourage aggressive (or sneaky?) patrols.
Only touching points are a little bit strange.
From my point of view the germans with a lot of automatic weapons are slightly advantaged in this map with a lot of firefights on a close range -> on the other side the allies are more soldiers
