Pretty fun setting and map. And a good challenge. But there are just too many Germans to fight for the US forces. True my opponent did an excellent job - credit to him even when I did things right and started to make headway more troops would arrive and my attack would grind to a halt.

Yes, the Germans are very out numbered. If they do things right they can make a dent but to succeed they need the US side to make some mistakes.
