Easily this is one of my fave battles in the entire CM system. Well done to the creator!
However, the play balance significantly favours the German defender as they have 1700 VPs available versus only 1200 VPs for the Allied attacker. Furthermore, the German player gets a 300 VP bonus for >45% casualties ( a near certainty given the ground and forces involved) and 500 VPs for enemy casualties while the Allied player only gets 200 VPs for enemy casualties. The battle would be better balanced by eliminating the 300 VP bonus for the German player.
